The 100th convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa will be held October 9-11 in Coralville, Iowa. We want to see as many people come to this exciting convention as possible, so we are doing what we can to provide transportation to those needing it. Please fill out the below form in order that we might know your needs. 

Rides will be departing Des Moines on Thursday, October 8 roughly 5:00 p.m. and Friday, October 9 roughly 7 a.m. Please select a time below.

All rides will return Sunday, October 11, 2026
(Exact time to be determined)

Cost: $90 per person (round trip or one way) to be paid to the Des Moines Chapter by cash or check. Checks should be made out to the Des Moines Chapter, National Federation of the Blind of Iowa.
Payment must be made after registering in order to secure your spot. Not paying will yield no ride; Refunds will not be available.

Your registration form must be completed by September 12, 2026, the date of the September Des Moines Chapter Meeting. Bring your money to that meeting to see that it gets in on time, or you can mail it to David Hammel, 7408 Bryn Mawr Drive, Urbandale, IA 50322 as soon as you have completed and submitted the form.
