How do I join the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa?
The best way to become a member of the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa is to join your local chapter. This allows you to connect with blind individuals in your area, participate in chapter events, and learn more about the organization’s services. To find your nearest local chapter, contact Helen Mejia, the NFBI affiliate president, at 570-983-7867 or hmejia@nfbi.org. You can also visit the chapters and divisions page on our website to find a chapter near you. If no chapter is available, you can join at-large chapter or a special-interest division that meet virtually via Zoom.
